Why Run?
 Running... 
• more than physical education, it improves cognitive flexibility and creativity 
   in ages 8-12. 
• builds endurance, boosts attention span and sharpens concentration. 
• is the simplest, cheapest sport that anyone can do.
• isn't about competition, it's just you vs. you
• creates community – you can run with anyone, anywhere
• is an incredible source of self-fulfillment, it's a frustration destroyer, 
  and a positive energy releaser.

Physical Literacy? 
• fundamental movement and sports skills (running, jumping, throwing)
• building a foundation of functional movements that can be used in different sports 
• tools to be active for life!

Understanding how to move your body and be physically active is fundamental to a healthy future.

Why Should Girls Exercise?
• Girls who start exercising at a young age are likely to have well developed brains.
• It reduces the rates of teenage pregnancy, smoking, drop-outs and obesity.  
• It fosters skills valued by the labour market.  
• Increases the time spent in school
• Regular exercise improves the physiology necessary for learning.
