Running shoes are the most important piece of running gear you can have because they reduce the shock of hitting the ground each step. They are also made to fit your foot properly so that you can avoid blisters. How can I get involved? Thanks for your interest! Check out the "Get involved" page, we have lots of opportunities for volunteers, coaches, mentors and more! Can I participate for only some of the sessions? The curriculum is based on all girls participating in all the sessions in the 8-10 week program. The development of trust and individual training and empowerment depends on all girls participation.
