What do I wear to a Sole Girls session?
This is Vancouver, the weather is always changing! Please come prepared to be running outdoors as well as doing indoor activities where we will be sitting down. Comfy is key!
RECOMMENDED DRESS CODE:
Top: t-shirt or tank top, and sweatshirt or a long sleeve shirt.
Hat (if it is sunny).
Bottom: shorts or active wear pants, or capris.
Shoes: runners only. Girls must have shoes that they can run in. If this is not possible, please contact us firstname.lastname@example.org
Socks (avoid blisters!)
If it is COLD or RAINING:
Sweater or jacket,
hat, or ear covers, headband
What to bring to Sole Girls sessions?
Clothes for running, see above
A light, healthy snack
Water, and water bottle
If it is raining, a change of dry clothes for afterwards
Do I have to wear running shoes?
Running shoes are the most important piece of running gear you can have because they reduce the shock of hitting the ground each step. They are also made to fit your foot properly so that you can avoid blisters.
How can I get involved?
Thanks for your interest! Check out the "Get involved" page, we have lots
of opportunities for volunteers, coaches, mentors and more!
Can I participate for only some of the sessions?
The curriculum is based on all girls participating in all the sessions in the
8-10 week program. The development of trust and individual training and empowerment depends on all girls participation. If you have a previous arrangement please contact us in advance email@example.com to see how
we can best help you.
Is there Sole Girls near me?
