LOCATION:</span><br /><span>- Availability required between 2:30pm-6pm on school days or a Saturday morning (min 3 hours&nbsp;per week)</span><br /><span>- Classes are typically held at schools/ community centers/partner stores in your community</span><br /><br /><span>RESPONSIBILITIES:</span><br /><span>- Organize weekly sessions from venue, to supplies, to&nbsp;boys and parents and mantors</span><br /><span>- Ensure necessary weekly information is prepared</span><br /><span>- Send weekly emails to parents to update them about the program</span><br /><span>- Manage and Hire mantors (volunteer mentors) and collect weekly feedback</span><br /><span>- Providing mentorship and guidance to improve leadership&nbsp;performance</span><br /><span>- Establish and maintain a safe environment in which boys can discuss, have fun and build&nbsp;their confidence</span><br /><span>- Manage groups of up to 15 boys</span><br /><span>- Set up room (mats, posters), take attendance, monitor behaviours</span><br /><span>- Prepare and Trail Mantors, volunteer mentors</span><br /><span>- Show leadership skills in building community, marketing,</span><br /><span>- Be punctual</span><br /><span>- Communicate effectively with boys, mantors, parents, and community partners</span><br /><span>- Providing mentorship and guidance to improve leadership&nbsp;performance</span><br /><br /><span>REQUIREMENTS:</span><br /><span>- Excellent written and verbal communication skills</span><br /><span>- An overwhelmingly positive attitude</span><br /><span>- Must have a passion for community building</span><br /><span>*Experience and a passion for working with boys ages 5-12</span><br /><span>- Group dynamic management skills vital</span><br /><span>- Excellent punctuality, organization skills and work ethic</span><br /><span>- Minimum of 19 yrs old</span><br /><span>- hold a current BC criminal record check</span><br /><span>- Enjoy running, physical activity and have goals</span><br /><span>- Comfortable and Confident in your own body, personality, mental health and uniqueness</span><br /><span>- Can handle difficult situations with</span><br /><span>- Basic computer skills</span><br /><br /><span>Additional DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS &amp; Our Programs are&nbsp;designed to empower boys ages 8-12 through mentorship,discussions and physical activity!<br />Some coaches have elementary classroom teaching experience,&nbsp;or a passion of working with&nbsp;children.<br />Our coaches will be responsible for managing location specific programs, running the curriculum&nbsp;and inspiring their community.
